WELCOME TO GIRONA WINTER CAMP

Hey Couchsurfers! We are very happy to announce that the Winter Camp 2013 will take place in our lovely Girona region, a picturesque city beyond the Pyrenees, with beautiful mountains, sea, and gorgeous landscapes.

OFFICIAL DATES FOR THE GWC: 28th of DECEMBER to 1 of JANUARY

For those who can be with us a bit longer, on the 6th of January, we have the Epiphany holiday, when we celebrate the Three Kings (Reyes Magos).
There will be also activities for those who will be here until the 6th.

We are sure that it will be a unique experience for all of us! It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to gather and celebrate New Year’s Eve over here, meeting a diverse group of amazing people from all over Europe and other parts of the world. We’ve been preparing a range of funny outdoor and indoor activities, that will suit all kinds of tastes, from board games competitions to sporting events (the first Girona Winter Camp Games :D), let’s see what team will win! Hopefully it will be as fun for you all to participate as it has been for us to prepare! We will also have some ceramic,  soap and meditation/yoga workshops.  Added to the awesome activities in and around the grand mansion (which has limited places), we will also provide some tours around this beautiful area and Barcelona (transport not included). Ah! And of course, we will have some night activities, with live music with some of our great local musicians, dj’s and some typical Catalan and Spanish traditions to welcome the New Year!
To be a part of it, you have three options: Staying in the mansion, find a host: couchsurfing, be welcome,...(which is not too popular around here) or staying in a hotel/hostel. 

PRICES:

Sleeping in the mansion +all activities = 75€ 
Only participating in the activities = 40€ (PS: Hotels/Hostels prices in Girona: between 19-21€ a night for groups). 

Only NY party and sleep in the mansion = 25€

PAYMENT PROCESS:

To keep track of the Girona Winter Camp signup process, we'd appreciate if you follow the following procedure:

1st. Transfer the amount to the Girona Winter Camp bank account*.Please, indicate your full name as it appears on your bank account, together with your CS/BW/Facebook nickname.

We are looking for a new MAIN HOUSE where we can sleep together, do the workshops and enjoy the night parties. It will be similar than the other one but smaller (approximately 100 people, half booked for now). It will be on a first come-first served basis, after that you'll have to find a place by yourself (CS, BW, hostels or hotels in the city or around it).
